In the heart of the unforgiving Arizona desert, Jack āApacheā Mercer (Jason Statham), a former elite soldier, lives in hiding after being betrayed by his own government. Once a top-tier agent, Mercer was presumed dead after a failed covert mission. Now, he’s a ghost, haunted by those who fear what he knows.
When Black Horizon, a ruthless private military corporation led by the relentless Colonel Darius Kane (played by Clive Owen), begins attacking a remote Native American reservation to seize hidden uranium deposits, Mercer is forced back into action. With the help of Lena Greywolf (Zoe Saldana), a fierce tribal leader and former CIA informant, Mercer uncovers a conspiracy that delves into government corruption. As Black Horizon takes hold, Mercer makes the desert his battleground, employing guerrilla tactics, expert marksmanship, and brutal hand-to-hand combat.
